In July 2023, Estonia was visited by H.E Khalid Al-Falih, Minister of Investments of Saudi Arabia, together with ~50 members of the business delegation.
The Estonian-Saudi Investment Forum was held in Tallinn for the first time and it marked the beginning of a new era in the economic relations between the two countries. Such a large Saudi delegation is unique not only in Estonia, but also in the whole of Europe. A good start was created in a more private round table meeting where Mr. Tarmo Laanetu, the founder and owner of Cranfeld Clinic, explained to the minister and his staff the possibilities of precision medicine and telemedicine, as well as the areas where it is possible to invest in Estonia.
